Kwanzaa is not a religious holiday, nor is it a traditional “African thing.” Moreover, it is grounded in violence, corruption, and deceit. Furthermore, it has an admitted humanist foundation so professing Christians should not go near the thing.

Mel Gibson's Film: Don't Judge the Book by the Movie!
I have purposefully delayed commenting on the Mel Gibson film, The Passion of the Christ although many of my friends have asked me about it. I am now ready to respond after talking with many and reading scores of websites and newspaper/magazine articles. This should not to be perceived as an attack upon many of my preacher/friends who applaud the movie. Their motives are not in question but their judgment is.

Boys' Book Banned in the Buckle of the Bible Belt!! Part 1
Well, maybe “ban” is not precise enough but you decide. “Ban” means to “prohibit or forbid,” and in that sense, a Chattanooga newspaper and a television station have banned my book. Chattanooga is a great place to live. It has many Christian colleges, seminaries, and many main offices of Christian organizations in the area. Moreover, Chattanooga is the buckle of the Bible belt, but alas, the buckle has been tarnished by political correctness or maybe personal cowardice.
