Dear Brother Don, Praise the Lord for your clear and Biblical stand on the many issues confronting believers in this hour. My position regarding the heresies of our times: To the Law and to the Testimony. If they speak not according to THIS WORD they have no light in them. Is 8:20 AND what our Lord has said: He that is not with me (The Word of God) is AGAINST Me! He is ANTI-Christ. Most of those that you have cited in your article regarding the EC are no surprise to me. Keep the Light blazing - someone may be drawn to it and be saved. Ron Mc Intyre Pastor, Grace Assembly
I want to thank you for your efforts at raising the alarm and awareness for ministries and layman, over the EC.
Where does Rick Warren fit into this problem? He appears to be at the head of the pack judging by what I have read to date, and have seen firsthand at his church, when we visited with family who attend there, unfortunately.
I just want to cry when I realize how polluted the church has become. How can anyone be saved when the truth is so hard to find? We need to get on our faces and pray!
I find your article informative, but unfortunately, not surprising. The Church (The Body of Christ) has allowed the world, for many years to define its conduct and beliefs, and have allowed the world to also define our concepts of love. The Church, like the world, has decided that tolerance is the sign of love rather than teaching, training, and correction, and have, like the pharisees before them, become more afraid of people they can see then God who they cannot. We need to return to a Biblical concept before we can change direction.

Thank you for this well written article Don! I am seeing much of this going on in my state of Washington. God is still on the throne and His Truth IS marching on. I am thankful for your stand in not choosing to be timid or fearful in speaking out TRUTH. Although this grieves my heart, perhaps the wheat is now being divided from the tares. Come Lord Jesus!
I can tell you where Rick Warren fits into the EC. I went to a seminar here in Nagoya, Japan on church ministry training and one of the speakers was a Saddleback advisor named Dave. All the person spoke on was EC and how it helps create “dynamic” ministry partners. My question to Dave was, “Do I need a dynamic or a Spirit led partner?” Dave response was a look of “???”. I then follwed up with, “Why do we need tricks and gimmicks instead of the Gospels?” Dave just moved to the next question and I moved to the door. Warren is in full support of EC as are his “Purpose Driven” advisors. In other words they are driven by their own purpose and not driven by the Lord’s.
A well researched issue, and well reported on for the discerning believers. Thank you, Dr. Boys, for giving us an alert to folks claiming to be ‘Christian,’ but apparently are not. Which means there are false teachers amongst us, and folks who don’t know enough to avoid them. It is very dangerous when Godly leaders don’t give proper notice of them to their flocks.
Thank you again. fch
Dr. Boys,
I find the fabric of your thesis true and I’m in full agreement. However I’m not sure I understand where you’re going, regarding Dr. Dobson, or your response to him. Was your response regarding his being at a mountain retreat, or that he was writing a book, or am I missing something? Your response begins with the appearance that you are addressing your response (as you said) to Dr. Dobson, yet in the next paragraph it appears you are addressing a question to a another person. On one hand you appear to be addressing Dr. Dobson with affirmation, then addressing another individual in dis-affirming Dobson. Your sentence structure and use of punctuation has me confused – can you clarify your stance, either for or against him and whether you are remarking on something he specifically said?
