I was sentenced to 8 years for an alleged tax violation that could have been resolved in civil court.

Not the most professional or mature article I have read. I know it’s likely to bother your readers and yourself, but if you look at the published evidence Kent Hovind is by all measures a career criminal. Have you actually looked over his judicial history? What got him convicted this time around was 58 counts of tax fraud and structured cash transactions plus an obstruction of justice charge to top it off. That’s not an accident or an “oopsie”.

Then considering that I was just watching a video where apparently he was in a phone conference with Pastor Steve Anderson where he was actually calling for the execution of career criminals and adulterers. It really makes this article look hypocritical, especially with the schoolyard-like whining tying to compare what crimes Hovind committed as opposed to other cherry-picked incidents. Was he not tried by a jury of his peers? Did he not have an attorney? Did he not file appeals? I’m sorry, but without some hard evidence to demonstrate that Hovind was singled out for special punishment this article reads like a little girl crying “Oh it’s just sooo not fair!” LOL!

As far as Hovind being persecuted for being an outspoken Christian, I’m not buying that bit for a second. There are many MILLIONS of Christians in the world, many of whom are outspoken, yet where is the evidence suggesting an organized effort to round them up (at least here in the United States)? I have yet to see any. However this wouldn’t be a first time that a scoundrel has tried to hide and/or deflect their misdeeds under the cloak of religion. Not even close.

Kent Hovind has been convicted of numerous criminal acts, and is now “paying the piper” so to speak. It might be best if you just man-up and deal with it.
