I totally agree with this article. In fact I am struggling right now trying to find a church here in Indianapolis that actually still preaches the WORD. I have been to some that I really felt I should have walked out of in the middle of the lesson. People need to hear the truth, not be lead to think everything will always be happy go lucky.

I agree that Christians should not tolerate anything that is not in line with the truth, because Jesus is the truth and the Holy Spirit did not give us a spirit of timidity but of boldness. Anyhow, i just didn’t agree that when a music that is offered to God is loud it means its not spiritual, God made variety, from the colors of people to music, if some people worship God by singing loud songs, let them, they’re singing to God not us. But also, since we know the truth, we ought to be merciful and at the same time truthful, for being judgmental might disqualify us from speaking the truth with power. We should follow the character of Jesus (merciful and truthful) when he said to the adulterous woman, “Neither do I condemn you. Go now and leave your life of sin.” (John 8:11). We as God’s children should stand up for the truth even if that would mean people would throw tomatoes at us. It is better to displease men than displease God. There’s something I learned from a pastor about dealing with issues he believed, “What Jesus made an issue, we ought to make it an issue, what Jesus didn’t make an issue, we don’t make an issue.”

I love singing to God with all that i am. Hillsong type music to me is the most heartfelt songs to God i know of. Some times the music seems a little loud but in ways it helps since my singing isn’t harmonious and i don’t have to hold back of course unless it isn’t an even flo. but jumping around to the beat with the joy of the Lord is refreshing and breaks junk of me. I feel if the worship style totally turns you off, there is a million churches out there. i think there’s a church for everyone as long as they are preaching that Jesus is God.
